WHAT IS CLASSICAL CONDITIONING ?  Classical conditioning may be a sort of learning that had a serious influence on the varsity of the thought in psychology referred to as behaviorism. Discovered by the Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov, conditioning a learning process that happening through associations between an environmental stimulus and a present stimulus. HOW CLASSICAL CONDITIONING WORKS ? Phase 1: Before Conditioning An unconditioned stimulus is matched with an unconditioned response in the preconditioning phase. After then, a neutral stimulus is introduced. Phase 2: During Conditioning The during conditioning phase involves pairing a neutral stimulus with an unconditioned stimulus. Eventually, the neutral stimulus becomes the conditioned stimulus. Phase 3: After Conditioning In the after conditioning phase, the conditioned stimulus alone triggers the conditioned response. why it is important for designer to understand? Designers can gain a huge advantage when designing if they

IMPORTANCE OF AFFORDANCE THEORY IN USER-EXPERIENCE DESIGN

WHAT IS AFFORDANCE ? Affordances are properties of objects which show users the actions they are going to take. Users should be able to perceive affordances without having to believe the thanks to use the items , i.e., a button are often designed to seem as if it must be turned or pushed. WHAT ARE DIFFERENT KIND OF AFFORDANCE? Perceptual information can be divided into three categories:  Perceptible affordance -  Perceptual information are present and users are reacting. Hidden affordance - Perceptual information are not present but still users are reacting. False affordance - Perceptual information are present but users are not reacting. WHY IT IS IMPORTANT FOR DESIGNERS? To get spontaneous / intuitive  reactions from target users. To improve user effectiveness and efficiency of the task. To design a better and minimalistic user interface.   EXAMPLES OF AFFORDANCE # Example 01: The mouse movement manifest in the form of the pointer or a hand to click something. this allowed me to clic
